Call Center Position

Cruise Specialist

Department: Reservations
Location: Miami, FL
Position Type: Full Time

• Assist travel agents and direct guests with all aspects related to cruise reservations, including product information, and sales promotions by meeting Oceania Cruises’ service delivery expectations
• Provide exceptional service and quality customer assistance in a telephone call center environment, consistent with the corporate goals and standards of Oceania Cruises

• Efficiently handle telephone inquiries from Oceania Cruises guests, including travel partners
• Provide superior customer service and product knowledge to all Oceania Cruises guests
• Effectively employ sales techniques, customer service, and product knowledge experience as a means to increase booking revenue and provide complete customer satisfaction
• Provide consistent consultative telephone support to travel agents and direct guests in a positive, knowledgeable, and professional manner
• Assist and support other departments and fellow team members in reaching Oceania Cruises service, productivity, quality, and revenue goals and missions
• Follow-up on available leads and ultimately close all potential sales opportunities
• Help with projects as requested by the Call Center management team
• Participate in organized and self-study training sessions to continuously improve knowledge base and sales performance

• Able to apply skills and training towards quality service delivery, customer satisfaction, new product and services implementation and increased revenue generation

• Ability to interpret policies and procedures, along with willingness to provide telephone cruise consultative services in a responsible, proactive, flexible, and empowered telephone call center environment
• Flexible with working any schedule, including late shifts and weekends
• A team player with the commitment to customer satisfaction, product and service quality, responsive to client needs, and willingness to find positive solutions to customer requests
• Travel industry knowledge, avid traveler, and/or Call Center sales and service experience is preferred
• Strong computer skills, including use of all Microsoft Office products
• Strong organizational & problem solving skills
• Driven to maximize sales opportunities and earn excellent incentives
