Victoria is one of the most picturesque cities in North America and exudes Old World charm and a distinctively British flair. This tour will show you the heart and soul of why so many visitors from around the world come each year to the City of Gardens.
Boarding your coach at the pier, you will first head into Victoria's residential neighborhoods, complete with manicured lawns, abundant flowers of all shapes and sizes and million dollar views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountain range.
During your tour you will travel past a few highlights of Victoria, including Craigdarroch Castle, all that remains of the stately Dunsmuir estate. Be sure to bring your camera as there is a photo stop included at a scenic overlook.
As you navigate your way back to the pier, your tour concludes with the finale of the Inner Harbor, the centerpiece of Victoria. This is the home of the Royal BC Museum, numerous street performers, craft vendors, food stalls, the BC Parliament Buildings and the world famous Fairmont Empress Hotel. Those who would like to further discover this vibrant city may do so but will be required to make their own way back to the ship. It is approximately a 20-minute walk and it is recommended that you let your driver/guide know.
Please note: This tour includes a minimal amount of walking mainly at the guest's discretion. It is available to guests who utilize a collapsible wheelchair, are able to make their way on and off the coach and have a companion to assist them. Casual, weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable, flat walking shoes are suggested.
