Departing the pier, walk approximately 15 minutes to Akershus Castle, located near the Akershus Cruise pier. Upon arrival, begin a guided visit of the castle's interior. Continue to the Resistance Museum, which adjoins a memorial to the Norwegian patriots who were executed by the Germans during World War II. During your visit, you will see objects, pictures, printed materials and exhibitions detailing life in Oslo while under foreign rule.
