See the very best of Manhattan on this comprehensive full-day tour. Leaving the pier, you will first travel to midtown and Rockefeller Plaza. Home to NBC's Today Show, the Plaza is also the annual location for New York's spectacular Christmas tree and the nostalgic ice-skating rink. Your visit here gives you the opportunity to ascend to the Top of the Rock Observatory and be treated to some fabulous and breathtaking panoramic views of the city from this 70-story high observation platform.

After this exhilarating experience, re-board your motor coach and travel to the Financial District. You will be visiting St Paul Chapel. Built in 1766, Manhattan's oldest public building in continuous use with a historic cemetery. Features "Unwavering Spirit: Hope and Healing at Ground Zero," an exhibit honoring the voluntary ministry that supported recovery workers immediately following 9/11.

Following your visit to St Paul Chapel, you will drive to Battery Park where you will catch a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty in the distance.

Grand Central Terminal is a beautiful Beaux-arts building in midtown Manhattan. First opened in 1913, Grand Central Terminal underwent a massive restoration to restore it to its former glory, and is now both a transportation hub, as well as a destination in itself for visitors to New York City. Here you will have time to sightsee and purchase some luncheon.

Following your break for lunch, enjoy a scenic drive past Central Park, along Fifth Avenue and through Times Square before making your way to Herald Square. This neighborhood remains predominately a shopping district and you will get a chance to pass by the landmark facade of Macy's, the world's largest department store which is famous not just for shopping, but for its parades as well. Other areas you will see today are Madison Square Garden, the world famous arena that hosts sporting events and entertainment shows; Greenwich Village and SoHo, the fashionable area nicknamed for its "South of Houston Street" location; Chinatown; the financial district and Wall Street.

Filled with the sights and sounds of a day spent discovering New York, your coach will drop you back at the pier where your ship awaits.

Please note: This tour includes limited walking, mainly at the guest's discretion during the stops. The tour is available to guests who utilize a wheelchair who are able to make their way on and off the coach and sit in a coach seat. Those guests with mobility concerns are cautioned to evaluate their personal level of ability and stamina. Casual clothing and comfortable, flat walking shoes are suggested. Restrooms are available at the stops. Due to the popularity of the Top of the Rock Observatory, there may be up to a 30-minute wait to visit the observation deck and all guests must pass through an airline-style security check before being allowed to embark the elevators. The order of the sites visited or viewed may vary. Depending on traffic conditions and/or street closures, some of the sights noted may not be accessible.
