Take off on a 3-hour snorkel cruise that gives you the chance to marvel at the beauty of Aruba's coastline and the riches of Aruba's underwater world. The magical combination of wind, sun and sailing make this both a fun and relaxing trip, all at the same time.
Boarding your sailing vessel at the cruise terminal, you well set sail for the west coast of Aruba. Your first stop will be at Boca Cathalina for great reef snorkeling. The depth will be around 15 feet so it's the perfect place to learn or refresh your snorkeling skills. After approximately 45 minutes in the water, you will head to your second stop, Aruba's famous Antilla shipwreck.
A remnant of World War II, the Antilla was scuttled by its own captain to prevent it from being captured by the Dutch Marines. Today, the Antilla is lying on its side in 60 feet of water, with a small piece sticking out above the surface. Voted as one of the world's top 10 dive and snorkel sites and with its length of approximately 400 feet, the Antilla is the 2nd largest shipwreck in the Caribbean and a favorite site of many.
Following your time snorkeling and swimming at the Antilla wreck, you will climb back onboard your catamaran and sail back to the cruise terminal, enjoying some thirst-quenching refreshments that include rum punch, soda and juice, all accompanied by the sounds of light-hearted Caribbean music.
