Explore Lima's scenic beauty and history away from the downtown area during this visit to San Isidro, Miraflores, and the Pedro de Osma Museum and Gallery.

Depart the pier for a drive through Lima that begins in the residential district of San Isidro. Along the way, you will pass lovely parks that include the Olivar de San Isidro, a large park nestled within an olive grove, and declared a Historical Monument. Next, you will continue on to Miraflores, a modern district with beautiful parks, squares, and avenues as well as cafés, restaurants and an active nightlife scene.

Miraflores abounds with many attractive beaches and commercial activities mainly concentrated around La Paz and Larco Avenues. At the end of these avenues, you will find a lovely park offering splendid views overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Your tour concludes with a visit to Lima's traditional belle epoque district, where many artists and intellectuals live and work. You will drive through this quaint community, and visit the Pedro de Osma Museum and Gallery. Inside, you will find displays of artistic finds dated between 1936-1967 from the personal collection of Don Pedro de Osma Gildemeister, a connoisseur of Peruvian virreinal art from the 16th through 19th centuries.

All of the pieces in the museum were originally lodged in Don Pedro's large house at Barranco, and arranged in the style of 19th-century European palace/ museums. Following his death, the Pedro and Angelica de Osma Gildemeister Foundation, run by Don Pedro's sister Angelica, donated the collection to the museum.

Following your visit, you will rejoin your coach for the return drive to the pier and ship.
