Nature lovers will enjoy this eco-friendly tour that showcases the environs of Pozuelos Lagoon, which is a part of the biosphere reservation located in the southern part of Chiapas. A short drive from the pier brings you to this wonderful unspoiled location comprised of an amazingly diverse variety of vegetation, such as the mangroves that are characteristic to the coastal areas of Chiapas. Situated in this natural setting is a huge hydrographical net of rivers, tropical lagoons, tideland and sandbanks which allow the exchange between continental water and the ocean.

As you cruise along the waterways, you'll be treated to a beautiful landscape of lush fauna along with migratory birds such as cormorants, egrets, among others. Your experienced local guide will explain all about the sights you are seeing and answer any questions you might have about this truly special place.
