This delightful half-day excursion combines the charm of both old and new Mexico. You'll board your coach at the pier and start with a scenic drive through the Marina Vallarta area, making a photo stop at the small village's local church.
Continuing on, you will travel to Hacienda Doña Engracia, one of the finest tequila factories in the area where you will get a first-hand look at the process of manufacturing tequila along with being treated to a tasting of the tequila produced here. Your visit also includes free time to explore the grounds of this working hacienda.
Rejoining your coach, you'll travel back toward the city, making another stop at one of Vallarta's traditional shopping plazas before ending up back in the center of Puerto Vallarta. During your time here, you can walk along the popular Malecon, visit the Cathedral of our Lady of Guadalupe and see Old Town City Hall, all while taking in fantastic views of the waterfront and the charm of the cobblestone streets. Guests may choose to transfer back to the ship on the coach, or stay in town and return on their own to the ship. Those who elect to stay in town will be responsible for making their own way back to the pier at their own expense.
Please note: This tour includes minimal walking over mostly even surfaces and mainly at the guest's discretion. The tour is available to wheelchair guests who are able to both make their way on and off the coach and who are accompanied by a companion who can assist them. Those guests with mobility concerns are cautioned to evaluate their personal level of ability and stamina. Lightweight clothing, comfortable, flat walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen are suggested. Short pants are not permitted in the Cathedral. Tequila samples will only be given to guests over 21 years of age. The order of the sites visited may vary.
