This highly popular tour with its unique interactive program, allows non-swimmers to learn more about Pacific bottlenose dolphins while standing in waist-deep water on a submerged platform.
A 30-minute transfer from the pier brings you to the Dolphin Center where upon arrival, you will be greeted by your hosts and given an informative introduction by the dolphin trainers. Learn all about the dolphins' anatomy, physiology, natural history and fascinating underwater communications during this interesting briefing.
Following your briefing, you will enter the specially designed educational pool and have the opportunity to examine the dolphin's physical characteristics up-close while rubbing and petting the dolphin's smooth skin. After you learn the training signals and how to feed them, the dolphin will shake your hand and even give you a friendly kiss. Contact time in the water with the dolphin is approximately 15 minutes.
After your dolphin encounter, you will be treated to a buffet lunch at the Center and have free time to shop for souvenirs or purchase photos of your time with the dolphins before it's time to return to the pier.
