This enjoyable walking tour gives you a great up-close look at Bermuda's capital city. Although smaller than the town of St. Georges, Hamilton is the only incorporated city in Bermuda. The city was officially incorporated in 1793 by an Act of Parliament and the Colony's capital was relocated to Hamilton from St. Georges in 1815. Considered the heart of Bermuda, Hamilton is where you will find most government offices and the majority of Bermuda's international businesses. The center of activity in Hamilton is along Front Street, a scenic thoroughfare that lines the harbor area and is home to many pastel-colored Victorian buildings which house a wealth of shops, restaurants and bars.

Joining your well-qualified guide at the pier, you'll embark on an interesting and informative introduction to Hamilton as you travel on foot, immersing yourself in the laid-back and amiable atmosphere of the town. After your tour, you are free to further explore this delightful city on your own, perhaps doing some shopping or paying a visit to the state-of-the-art Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute or the Royal Yacht Club and Historical Museum.

Please note: This tour includes approximately 1 hour of walking and is not considered suitable for wheelchair guests. Those with mobility concerns are cautioned to evaluate their personal level of ability and stamina. Comfortable walking shoes, light jacket, sun hat, sunglasses and a bottle of water are strongly recommended.
