Antigua's exquisite waterways, flora and fauna are yours to discover during this half-day kayaking and snorkeling adventure.
Depart the pier for the scenic drive along the north coast to the clubhouse, which is located just minutes away from North Sound National Park. Upon arrival, you will embark a skiff for the brief ride to the kayak platform and your awaiting 13-foot, two-person kayak. You will then receive your safety and kayaking instructions from your guide, then put on your life vest and begin kayaking through the mangroves. Along the way, you will discover one of the most beautiful hidden spots in Antigua nestled amidst the beautiful mangroves and calm inlets.
Next, you will take a ride through the islands of the North Sound for an intimate look at Antigua's bird and marine life. The highlight of the tour will be a brief stop and hike on the famous Bird Island, or Great Bird, where you will have a rare opportunity to view the blowholes and Atlantic Ocean on one side, and the beauty of the Caribbean Sea on the other. Some time will be made available here for swimming and snorkeling on the beach. No prior snorkeling experience is necessary, but you must be able to swim without assistance. All snorkeling gear and life vests will be provided.
