It’s a short walk from the cruise ship pier to your comfortable glass-bottomed tour boat. Once aboard, you'll set off on a relaxing and picturesque cruise to the reef, where a wide variety of fish and other sea creatures await your viewing pleasure. Along the way, your experienced captain and crew will provide a unique and informative eco-tour and point out the most interesting species of marine life that make their home in the waters of this incredible island. You'll marvel at the amazing beauty of the colorful fish and reef inhabitants as you gaze into the underwater world of Key West. Your fully equipped Glass Bottom Boat, The Pride of Key West, offers you a smooth ride on a modern catamaran and features a seated sun deck as well as an air-conditioned, enclosed viewing area. After approximately 40 minutes enjoying the wonders of the reef, you'll make your way back to the dock for the land portion of your tour.
The Conch Train Station is just a short walk from the dock and it’s here where you will climb aboard your Conch train and begin a fully narrated one hour tour of the island. Riding in comfort, cooled by island breezes, you will get a true feel of this unique island - the color, the history and the atmosphere, all while viewing its most important landmarks. Along the way, your friendly conductor will point out unique details and special places you might otherwise miss, such as Hemingway House, the Southernmost Point of the Continental U.S., President Truman's Little White House, the Henry Flagler Railroad Historian and many, many more sights that characterize the charm and distinctive appeal of Key West.
Following your panoramic tour, you are free to walk back to the ship, or further explore on your own. Hundreds of delightful, one-of-a-kind shops and eateries are waiting to be discovered, all while soaking in the ambience that is distinctively Key West.
Please note: this tour includes limited walking; however dependent upon the ship’s docking location, the walk to the tour boat dock can be approximately 10-minutes. The tour is available to wheelchair guests who are able to make their own way on and off the boat and Conch train and have an able-bodied companion to assist them; however all wheelchairs, walkers and strollers will be stored at the dock during the tour. Those with mobility concerns are cautioned to carefully evaluate their personal level of stamina and ability. Any guests prone to motion sickness should take all necessary precautions. Casual, weather appropriate clothing; sun cap; sunglasses; sunscreen; and flat, comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
