For those travelers who prefer an added measure of intimacy and flexibility, we are pleased to offer our new Oceania Exclusive tours. With a minimum of 10 guests and a maximum capacity of just 16 guests, each tour benefits from a higher level of personal attention and the added flexibility and agility that come from traveling in a small group.

Oceania Exclusive tours are available for a specially selected number of tours in almost every port we visit, in every corner of the world.

Croatia's picturesque beauty and architectural past is yours to discover during this scenic tour of the centuries-old Split Riviera. Split is also one of the oldest cities in the area, and is traditionally considered just over 1,700 years old with the new and the old harmoniously blending together. At the core of this sprawling city lies the palace that Emperor Diocletian built at the turn of the 4th century. What had began as an imperial residence and fortified camp is today an intriguing warren of cobblestone streets where pre-Romanesque churches live alongside Gothic chapels, history-filled museums, contemporary art galleries, restaurants and charming cafés.

Departing from the pier, you'll first embark on a scenic drive to Trogir. Situated on a small island nestled between the mainland and the larger island of Ciovo, Dalmatia is connected to the mainland by a bridge. With the exception of its green parks, the entire island is filled with spectacular stone houses, palaces, churches, monasteries, towers, walls, and more. Trogir largely resembles an open-air museum, and your guided walking tour through its narrow streets will offer you a unique insight into daily life here centuries ago.

During your time in Trogir, a visit will be made to the town's main attraction, the Cathedral of St. Lawrence. This 13th-century building is probably the finest example of sacral architecture in Croatia, and dominates the entire town. The cathedral's unusual construction features three naves and three semi-circular apses, and its world-renowned main portal was carved by a local artist, Radovan, in the 13th century. Additional sites of interest include the Town Loggia, Town Hall and Cipiko Palace.

Leaving Trogir, you will re-board your coach and take a short drive to your next stop, the Old Mill, or Pantan. Relax in the charming setting of the mill and enjoy a light snack of smoked ham, cheese and olives, while being entertained with traditional Dalmatian songs performed by local singers.

Your tour concludes with a drive back to Split where you will have a guided walking tour past many of the city's landmarks. From your final stop at the Diocletian Palace, you can choose to remain in town and further explore on your own, or travel the short distance back to the pier on foot.

Please note: This tour includes approximately 1 3/4 hours of walking - mostly over flat surfaces, plus any additional walking at the guests' discretion during free time.. Due to the nature of the tour, it is not considered suitable for wheelchair guests and those with mobility concerns are cautioned to evaluate their personal level of stamina and ability. Casual lightweight clothing, a hat and comfortable walking shoes are suggested. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to be served alcoholic beverages.
