This tour combines several elements of modern Dubai and gives visitors the opportunity to experience the contrasting aspects of this multi-faceted city. Boarding your coach at the pier, you will first travel to the world renowned Burj Al Arab Hotel, the city's most notable landmark and perhaps one of the most popular hotels in the world, if not one of the most distinctive. Built on an artificial island and designed to resemble the sail of a traditional Arabic dhow, it is considered both an engineering feat and architectural marvel.
Upon arrival, you'll be escorted to a private room where you will enjoy a delicious high tea that will include a selection of finger sandwiches, freshly baked warm scones served with Devonshire clotted cream and homemade jam, a delicious pastry selection, sweet meats and your choice of an assortment of fine teas or freshly ground coffee.
After a thoroughly delightful and relaxing interlude at the fabulous Burj Al Arab, you'll re-board your coach for the short drive to Madinat Souk, which is a part of the famous Madinat Juemirah. This modern marketplace has been built to resemble the traditional souqs and is well-known for its many trendy boutique shops and restaurants. There will be free time to browse the shops on your own before it's time to continue on to the Dubai Marina, enjoying a scenic drive through portions of modern Dubai along your way. A brief stop at the Marina's boardwalk provides an excellent opportunity to capture some attractive photos of the lagoon and colorful marina.
You'll travel along a route that will take you through the Juemirah Beach residential area, on to Emirates Hill and past The Springs and Meadows, very sought-after places to live in Dubai. From here, you'll pass the famous Mall of the Emirates which houses the third largest indoor ski dome and then follow Sheikh Zayed Road through Dubai's downtown area, also referred to as the "Manhattan of Dubai". Before returning to the port you will also view Burj Dubai, which once completed will become the world's tallest building.
