Like a journey back in time, this tour presents a glimpse of antiquity through the ruins of two neighboring cites. You will first visit Miletus, a major maritime power in the 6th century B.C., thanks to its four harbors. Here, you will explore the wonderfully preserved Greco-Roman theater, the Roman-era Baths of Faustina and the stadium, which was originally built by the Greeks and then enlarged by the Romans.
Traveling on to Didyma, you will behold the majestic Temple of Apollo, considered to be one of the great monuments of antiquity. Construction of this huge edifice, designed for ritual services honoring the renowned oracle, continued for more than 600 years. Following your visit to Didyma, you will return to Kusadasi for shopping, or sit in on a fascinating carpet demonstration.
Please note: This tour includes nearly 2 hours of walking, at times on uneven surfaces and uphill. It is not considered suitable for wheelchair guests or those with mobility concerns. Comfortable walking shoes, light clothing and hats are recommended. The order of the sites visited may vary.
