With lightweight audio players and a detailed map this Discovery Walks program offers an easy walking tour of the ancient cobble-stoned streets and historic sights of Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance movement at your own pace. Included in your Discovery Walks Plus tour cost is a coach transfer to and from Florence (please consult with the Destination Services Desk on board the ship for departure time).
The Discovery Player is a full-stereo iPod that is worn comfortably around your neck as you explore the area's historic sights. The headsets or earpieces provided allow you to listen to all the facts and history of this memorable city while walking through the streets at your own pace. Simply consult the customized map to find each location and then go to the indicated number on the player for a detailed description of the site and its history.
The Discovery Player is yours for the day, so you can go as fast or as slow as you'd like. Follow the suggested Discovery Walks route or set out on your own adventure, moving about the city with ease following the detailed map and audio directions.

Please note: Guests will need to complete a Program Equipment Receipt and present a photo ID (such as a driver's license) when picking up their Discovery Player. Additionally, any iPod(s) not returned to the ship's Destination Services Desk in good working order will be assessed a Lost/Damaged item fee to the guest's onboard account in the amount of $200.00 per iPod.
