The Discovery Player is a full-stereo iPod which will allow you to explore the area's historic sights. The headsets or earpieces provided allow you to listen to all the facts and history of this memorable city while walking through the streets at your own pace. Simply consult the customized map to find each location and then go to the indicated number on the player for a detailed description of the site and its history.
The Discovery Player is yours for the day, so you can go as fast or as slow as you'd like. Follow the suggested Discovery Walks route or set out on your own adventure, moving about the city with ease following the detailed map and audio directions.
With more than 15 of the city's most important points of interest programmed into the player, your exploration of the beautiful views and historic spots in Mykonos is limited only by your personal wishes. From the liveliness of the cafes and shops in the area known as Little Venice, to the unique church known as Panagia Paraportiani, and the waterfront walk, home of one of the city's most famous residents Petros the Pelican, your Discovery Walks stroll through sparkling Mykonos will be the highlight of your visit to this energetic Greek port.
Please note: Guests will need to complete a Program Equipment Receipt and present a photo ID (such as a driver's license) when picking up their Discovery Player. Additionally, any iPod(s) not returned to the ship's Destination Services Desk in good working order will be assessed a Lost/Damaged item fee to the guest's onboard account in the amount of $200.00 per iPod.
The cost of the tour does not include a transfer to, from or around Mykonos.
