This tour showcases the famous Riviera town of Nice and the beautiful scenery of the surrounding area.
Starting off from the pier, it's a 1 hour drive to Nice where upon arrival you will be treated to a panoramic drive along the Promenade des Anglais, the renowned road that sweeps around the Bay of Angels towards Antibes. Your route will pass by the famous Hotel Negresco and the Boulevard of Cimiez, as well as through some of the town's exclusive neighborhoods. Your coach tour also includes viewing sights such as the Park Imperial, Regina Hotel and Cimiez Hill before continuing into the old city of Nice where tall houses, bright with flowers, shade the streets from the brilliant Mediterranean sun, keeping them cool and inviting.
A stop will be made on Cours Saleya, the elegant promenade of Old Nice which is lined with shops and restaurants and the famous Flowers market. You will have just over an hour of free time here in which you may explore on your own or browse the colorful shops for honey, olive oils, fruits, handicrafts and souvenirs. It's an ideal opportunity to purchase a memento of your visit or the perfect gift for someone back home.
Rejoining your coach, you will continue your panoramic tour on to the Cimiez area before heading back to your waiting ship in Cannes.
Please note: This tour includes approximately 1 1/4 hours of walking. The tour is not available to wheelchair guests and those with mobility concerns are cautioned to evaluate their personal level of ability and stamina. Flat, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen are suggested. It is important to note that it is difficult to find restrooms along the highway en route to Nice. On Mondays, the Flower Market is closed and will be replaced with a visit to the Flea Market. The order of sites viewed or visited may vary.
