If you have always wanted to learn to scuba dive, here is the perfect opportunity. Not only will you learn to dive in one day, you will also have the opportunity to discover Aruba's beautiful underwater world, all under the guidance of professional instructors.
A short transfer from the pier brings you to the dive shop where you will receive your DSD academic session and then enter the pool. During the pool session, your instructor will teach you the basic rules and skills for scuba diving, such as dealing with pressure, breathing on scuba and how to use the different equipment.
After approximately 1-hour spent learning the essentials of diving, you will board your dive boat and head out to a shallow wreck, the Pedernalis which lies on the west side of the island. After receiving a short briefing and getting your gear set up, you will enter the water with your instructor and begin your dive, which goes up to a depth of 25-feet. Your instructor will accompany you at all times underwater during the approximately 35-minute dive while you marvel at the incredible underwater habitat of Aruba.
All too soon, it's time to climb back onboard your dive boat and make your way back to the dive shop pier where your transportation awaits to transfer you back to the cruise terminal.
