This comprehensive full day tour allows you to experience all the best that Brisbane has to offer. Boarding your coach at the pier, you'll travel approximately one hour from Brisbane for a visit at Australia Zoo. Home to TV's late "Crocodile Hunter," Steve Irwin, it is often referred to as the ultimate zoo experience. As you arrive, friendly escorts from the zoo will greet you and provide you with a map that highlights the various animal venues and shows. Your time is your own to visit the animals or take in the star attraction and highlight of the zoo, the famous Croc Show. Menacing and awesome, this show will entertain as well as educate you in the ways of the Crocodile, all in a manner that will be sure to have you laughing, clapping and hollering "Crikey!"
Before it's time to go, be sure to take time to hand-feed the red and grey kangaroos in their open-range encounter or spend some time at the koala enclosure getting to know these cuddly creatures up-close. A photo taken with an adorable koala will no doubt serve as a lifelong memento of your visit (photo is optional and not included in your tour price).
Following your visit, you will drive further north past the Glass House Mountains to Montville. A truly charming village, you will find it a pleasant blend of Tudor, Irish and English cottages of log or stone, Swiss and Bavarian chalets, complete with an old mill water-wheel. It also boasts one of the most spectacular and panoramic views over a coastal plain you could find in Australia. Upon arrival, you will have free time to browse along the myriad of art galleries, pottery studios, craft cottages, fashion houses, gift and antique shops, and other specialty shops. You may also enjoy some lunch (at your own expense) in one of the many award-winning restaurants, tea rooms and cafés.
Re-boarding your coach, you will travel back to the ship after having enjoyed a tantalizing glimpse into this relaxed and friendly city.
