This fun tour delivers a true taste of Thai culture along with some spectacular island scenery.
Traveling by 4-wheel drive vehicle, you'll travel from the pier along a picturesque route that passes by colorful small villages and rubber and coconut plantations before arriving at the elephant camp. A short stop at the Na Muang Waterfall will be made en route.
Here, at the elephant camp, you'll begin a once-in-a-lifetime adventure of riding on the back of a mammoth elephant as you trek through the grounds of a local plantation. Lumbering along, your gentle giant brings you through lush groves of coconuts to a mountain belvedere where you'll briefly stop to enjoy the stunning island views and relish this utterly unique experience.
Returning to camp, you'll be treated to an entertaining performance that features the elephants and playful monkeys harvesting coconuts. There is also a Thai cooking demonstration and Rubber Plantation experience included during your visit. All too soon, this unforgettable excursion comes to a close as you re-join your vehicle and make your way back to the pier.
Please note: The Elephant camps visited may vary. Open air 4WD vehicles are used for this excursion. Covers can be lowered on sides and back in the event of rain. This tour is not available to wheelchair guests and those with mobility concerns are cautioned to evaluate their personal level of ability and stamina. Casual clothing, a hat, sunglasses, sun screen and comfortable, flat walking shoes are recommended.
