This is no doubt one of the most relaxing ways to enjoy the city of Brisbane as you travel down the meandering Brisbane River on a marvelous wooden Mississippi-style paddle-wheeler.
After a short orientation drive to view the mansions on Hamilton Hill, the historic Breakfast Creek Hotel, Newstead House and New Farm Park, you'll arrive at the wharf where your paddle-wheeler awaits to transport you on a leisurely journey down the river. Some of the sights you'll see are the multi-million dollar mansions that line the banks at Norman Park, the historic Shafston House at Kangaroo Point, and the Story Bridge.
As you marvel at the eclectic mix of historic and modern architecture that comprise the city, you'll enjoy an informative commentary that will serve to introduce you to Brisbane's landmarks, its culture and people. Travelling further down the river, you'll also pass the extensive Southbank parklands and the site of Expo 1988. Sit back and immerse yourself in the ambience and atmosphere of this charming city while being treated to a light morning or afternoon tea.
At the conclusion of your river cruise, you'll re-join your coach and have a brief tour of some additional sights within the city before heading back to the pier where your tour concludes.
Please note: This tour is not available to wheelchair guests and those with mobility concerns are cautioned to evaluate their personal level of ability.
