Spend a heavenly day relaxing on the fabulous island of Fafa, one of a dozen tropical gems lying just north of Tonga.
From the pier, it's a brief 10-minute transfer to Faua Wharf, where you'll board a boat for Fafa Island. Along the way, you will pass several other idyllic islands, which hint at the exotic experience that awaits you. Upon arriving at Fafa, you will immediately be struck by the serenity and endless natural beauty.
The island is completely uninhabited, except for the few guests like you who come to enjoy this 18-acre slice of paradise. The Fafa Island Resort is situated on the western portion of the island, and the remaining acreage has been left untouched. Coconut palms sway in the breezes, turquoise waters gently lap the golden beaches, and bright flowers add bursts of color.
You will have plenty of time to relish the exotic atmosphere. Lie in a hammock and read. Stroll beaches where the only footprints are yours. Take a paddleboat around the lagoon, or snorkel the coral reefs just offshore. Sip a cool tropical drink made with fresh-squeezed coconut milk. It's all a wonderful prelude to your specially prepared luncheon of contemporary Pacific European dishes.
After savoring approximately 6-hours ashore here, you will re-board your boat and cruise back to the pier in Nuku'alofa.
