Enjoy a fun-filled day at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park on this excursion.
Boarding your coach at the pier, it's a 1-hour drive to the Park, which is located on 1,800 acres in the San Pasqual Valley area of San Diego. The Park houses a large array of wild and endangered animals. The free-range enclosures are home to such animals as cheetahs, gorillas, lions, giraffe, elephants, zebras and rhinos. The Park is also noted for its California condor breeding program, the most successful program of its kind in the country.
Upon arrival, you will be on your own to explore the Park at your leisure, seeing the sites that are of most interest to you. There are several venues located within the Park where you can purchase food and beverages along with gift shops where you can pick up a souvenir of your visit.
After approximately 4-hours spent discovering all this fantastic attraction has to offer, you will meet your escort and coach at the appointed location and time for the return transfer to the pier.
Please note: Walking at the Park is at the guests' discretion; however, in order to view the various animal attractions extensive walking will be required. The tour is available to wheelchair guests who have a collapsible wheelchair, are able to make their own way on and off the coach and have a companion to assist them. This tour is not recommended for those with mobility concerns. Casual clothing; sun cap; sunglasses; sunscreen and flat, comfortable walking shoes are suggested. Those who are not on time for the return transfer will be responsible for making their own way back to the ship at their own expense.
