Leaving the ship, you will be tendered to Hamilton Island where you will board the magnificent Denison Star, a 107-foot Huon pine motor cruiser. Steeped in tradition, the Denison Star has been luxuriously re-appointed and re-designed with a fully air-conditioned lower deck and an outside area on the upper deck that is shaded by a canopy. Originally built in Hobart, Tasmania during 1967/1968, the Denison Star is the largest Huon pine vessel to be built in Australia. An Australian icon in timber boats, the Denison Star now combines traditional style cruising with modern day comfort that is exclusively yours to enjoy.
Departing from Hamilton Island, your 2 hour cruise will cross the Whitsunday Passage, passing a number of resorts and landmarks along the way. During the course of your tour, you will be provided interesting commentary regarding the history of the Whitsundays Islands while being treated to tea and muffins onboard.
At the conclusion of your tour, you will disembark the Denison Star at Hamilton Island and return to your ship via tender.
