Discover the wisdom of Pa, one of the Cook Island's best known traditional healers, during this informative tour.
As you leave the pier, Pa will address the history of the township before heading to the east side of the island. At his residence, you will be treated to a snack of fresh tropical fruit and then he will highlight the many plants and herbs that are used in making natural remedies, while sharing with you his spiritual knowledge of Polynesia.
From here, you will travel to the 7-stones monument and Muri beach, each of which offers up some extraordinary photo opportunities. Your tour also includes a stop at the Noni factory where this modern day miracle fruit is processed and exported. Traveling to the heart of the island, you'll see Needle Rock, where Pa will explain about the carved idols carved on the face of the rock. Heading back toward the pier, you'll pass Hospital Lookout, the airport, and some of the largest hotels on the island.
