Enjoy discovering the magnificent sights of Oahu from the unique perspective of seeing it from above.
Board your van at the pier and transfer to the helicopter base where upon arrival, you will check in and receive a safety briefing. Climbing aboard your helicopter, you will settle in and then soar upward into the skies above Honolulu.
Your amazing flight-seeing tour begins with a beautiful view of placid Keehi Lagoon and continues over historic Honolulu Harbor. Here, you will see Aloha Tower, once the tallest structure on the island, as well your cruise ship resting in its berth. Next, you will fly over downtown Honolulu which features the only royal palace in the country and then it's up to Punchbowl, the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific which rests high above the city.
Continuing on, you will travel above Ala Moana Beach Park, Magic Island, the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor and world-famous Waikiki Beach. Flying beyond Waikiki, you will see Diamond Head crater from a dramatic perspective, as well as the "Gold Coast" where millionaires make their homes, and spectacular Hanauma Bay. Rounding the east end of the island, you'll view a more rugged coastline that opens to inviting Sandy Beach and then the landmark Makapuu Point and lighthouse. Your aerial tour continues over Sea Life Park, the estate where TV's Magnum P.I. was filmed, and miles of tempting white sand beach.
Next you will fly above the powdery white sands of Waimanalo Beach, the gorgeous coral formations of Kaneohe Bay, distinctive Chinaman’s Hat, and then up into “Jurassic Park” valley, where scenes from a dozen major motion pictures have been filmed. The highlight of the tour is Sacred Falls, with its splendid 1,000-foot cascade.
After viewing the falls you will fly over the Polynesian Cultural Center, one of Hawaii’s most popular visitor attractions, and the Mormon Temple in Laie. You’ll also see Turtle Bay, the aquaculture farms and Kahuku Point. Don’t be surprised if you see humpback whales offshore here during the winter months.
Next, it's the storied North Shore and a dramatic view of world-renowned surfing spots including Sunset Beach, Pipeline and Waimea Bay. On your way over Oahu’s Central Plain, you’ll see the Dole Pineapple maze and the “birthing stones” of Hawaiian royalty. Then, the aircraft will head south through the Kolekole Pass, where Japanese warplanes flew on their date with destiny back in 1941. You’ll see the Ihilani and Ko Olina Resorts, and then fly over the deep draft harbor at Barber’s Point. Your tour concludes with a panoramic vista of Pearl Harbor.
Touching back down at the helicopter base, your van awaits to transfer you back to the pier where your tour concludes.
