An exhilarating sail across some of Huatulco's finest bays highlights this invigorating excursion. Stepping aboard the 44-foot sailboat Luna Azul (Blue Moon), you'll set sail on a relaxing journey exploring the waters surrounding this coastal paradise.
Leaving the Santa Cruz marina behind, your captain will set a south-westerly course along the coastline to Chahue and Tangolunda Bays. Traveling across the azure waters with the jagged Sierra Madre Mountains as a backdrop, you'll enjoy discovering the pristine coves and beaches that make this one of Mexico's fastest growing tourist destinations.
As you skim across the sea, you're invited to ask your friendly crew all about the basics of sailing, or you can simply find a comfortable spot to sit back and unwind, soaking up the sun and appreciating the refreshing sea breeze. Be sure to keep an eye out for playful dolphins and sea turtles, as these marine creatures are quite common to this area. Stopping at one of Huatulco's fabulous secluded beaches, you'll have approximately 45-minutes to swim in the warm translucent waters before it's time to head back to the marina. Adding to your enjoyment, complimentary Margaritas, beer, bottled water, soft drinks and snacks will be available onboard the sloop.
Please note: This tour is not available to wheelchair guests and considered unsuitable for those with mobility concerns. Guests wishing to swim should be agile swimmers. Swim suits, cover-ups, a hat, sunglasses, a towel and sunscreen are strongly recommended as there is very little shade aboard the sloop. Guests taking part in any water activities do so at their own risk and responsibility and will be required to sign a waiver before being allowed to take part in the tour. Guests must be a minimum age of 12 to participate. Alcoholic beverages will only be served once the swimming portion of the tour has concluded.
