Find out for yourself why St. Barts is described as beautiful, enchanting, unspoiled and intimate on this scenic island drive. As you make your way around the island you will pass several places of interest, including vantage points that offer excellent views of the picturesque harbor as you drive through Gustavia. Continue on to La Tourment, the famous road where you are at eye-level with the arriving airplanes, and through the hills along the winding roads to St. Jean Bay, a striking area lined with hotels and restaurants. Then, you're off to Salines, the saltwater pond area now famous for its clothing optional beach. Observe waves breaking on the rugged and rocky shoreline when you arrive at the Bay of Grand Fond. You will also drive past the former oceanfront home of the famous Russian dancer, Rudolf Nureyev and through some quaint villages on the north coast before returning to Gustavia.
Please note: This excursion is an orientation drive of the island operated by a driver only and does not include a separate guide. The mini-bus taxi drivers speak varying degrees of English with a heavy French-West Indian accent.
