Experience the thrill of a sea safari boat ride and visit the picturesque sailing town of Kinsale on this fun adventure.
Don your life vest and following the instructions from you skipper, climb aboard the RIB safari vessel in Cobh. Enjoy magnificent views only made possible from the sea as you learn of the harbor's history and take in the spectacular scenery and wildlife while en route to Kinsale. Along your route, you will view the Royal Cork Yacht Club, the oldest Yacht Club in the world as well as be treated to a bird's eye view of Camden Fort, Carlisle Fort and Roaches Point Lighthouse - all of which date from the 1800's.
Travelling past the last pick up point of Titanic on her ill fated voyage, you will continue to hug the coastline, appreciating magnificent scenery all the way to the historic town of Kinsale, site of the Battle of Kinsale in 1601. On reaching Kinsale you will make a brief photo stop at Charles Fort before disembarking in the town center for a 30-minute walking tour of this colorful cosmopolitan town. At the conclusion of your walking tour, some free time will be allowed to look in the shops and purchase some souvenirs of your visit.
Rejoining your skipper, you will climb back aboard the vessel for your return journey to Cobh. In recent years, Cork animal lovers have been given a rare chance to see one of nature's friendliest and most peaceful creatures, the dolphin. Your skipper will do his best to try and track down some of these wonderful marine mammals for you.
