This half-day tour will take you to Magnolia Gardens, one of the most beautiful romantic gardens in the world.
Begin your tour by strolling through the garden paths through a Cypress Swamp which was turned into a garden by the Rev. John Drayton prior to the War Between the States.
The beauty of these unique gardens will take your breath away. After touring the gardens, board the Nature Train which will take you into part of the Audubon Swamp Garden, home to scores of water loving creatures and traversed by boardwalks, dikes, and bridges. The Nature Train allows you close contact with the wild life and the surrounding nature as you ride peacefully through the trails. You may even see an alligator along the way, and marvel at the abundant bird population of the Low country.
After your ride on the train, enjoy a guided walking tour of the Magnolia House which features a collection of beautiful American Antiques.
Enjoy some free time to stroll through the gardens, or browse through the gift shop, before returning for your coach for the ride back to the pier.
Please note: This tour includes approximately 2 hours of walking plus any additional walking at the guests' discretion during free time. Also, the paths through the gardens may be difficult for wheelchair maneuvering. It is available to wheelchair guests who are able to both make their way on and off the coach and sit in a coach seat. Those guests with mobility concerns are cautioned to evaluate their personal level of ability and stamina. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
