Known as one of the world's premier snorkeling locations, Cozumel offers a variety of environments to choose from. This tour is designed to give even those snorkeling for the first time, a fun and secure experience.
Departing from the pier, you'll be transferred to the snorkeling site a short distance away and meet your PADI certified guide. After receiving information on how to use your gear and how to go about snorkeling, they will guide you into the water via a staircase that allows for easy access into and out of the ocean. The depths at this site vary between 3 to 20 feet of water and you are allowed to proceed solely at your own pace and comfort level. Your snorkeling experience will last approximately one hour, during which time you will be able to enjoy spectacular views of the coral formations and colorful tropical fish that distinguish this as one of Cozumel's renowned reefs.
Before being returned to the pier, some free time to relax and shower will be provided.
Please note: This tour is not available to guests who utilize a wheelchair, those with mobility concerns, heart problems, conditions or injuries that would prohibit jarring and bouncing, or keep someone out of the water, or pregnant women. Participants should have basic swimming skills and must be at least 8 years old. Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Comfortable, flat, walking shoes with a non-slip sole are strongly recommended as well as swimsuit, cap, sunglasses and sun protection. Snorkeling equipment is provided. Tour participants taking part in any water activities do so at their own risk and responsibility and must sign a release form before being allowed to take part in the tour.
