Experience Bora Bora's fascinating marine life from up-close during this unique snorkeling safari in an open-air aquarium.
Depart the pier aboard your boat for a scenic navigation (weather permitting) of the Bora Bora Lagoon. You will then continue on to the Lagoonarium, which offers an abundance of marine life and a beach with a beautiful view of Bora Bora. Upon arrival, you will have an opportunity to swim in separate enclosed areas.
During your visit, you will also participate in up-close encounters with marine life, including sharks, rays, jack fish, turtles, parrot fish, and more. Snorkeling begins from the beach in shallow water ranging in depth from 3-10 feet, and is suitable for both beginners and experienced snorkelers. Your local guides will show you how to carefully approach the marine life during this incredible underwater experience.
After your time in the water, you will be served a light refreshment and have some free time for relaxing on the beach before heading back to the pier.
Please note: Walking on this tour is mainly at the guests' discretion but will be over sandy and uneven surfaces. Guests should be in good physical condition, be good swimmers and be comfortable wearing snorkeling equipment (fins are not permitted on this tour) and being in deep water, as well as coping with occasional currents. The snorkeling on this tour is performed over a sandy surface and not over any coral formations. The tour is not available to wheelchair guests or those with mobility concerns. The ride can be extremely sunny, or wet from spray or rain. Swimwear worn under a cover-up; sun cap; sunglasses; biodegradable sunscreen; towel; a bottle of water from the ship; and flat comfortable walking shoes or aqua socks are recommended. A small souvenir shop is available on the island, and all purchases are cash only; U.S. dollars or Pacific Francs are accepted here. Changing facilities, a sitting area and restrooms are also available. While it is likely you will see marine life, the prescence of any type of wildlife is never guaranteed and tickets will not be refunded should a sighting not occur. Those participating in any water activities do so at their own risk and responsibility.
