Cornwall's spectacular Eden Project is an unforgettable attraction in a breathtaking epic location. Eden is a gateway into the fascinating world of plants and people and a vibrant reminder of the interdependence of all species. One of its giant conservatories is a majestic rain forest cathedral; the other is host to the fruits of the Mediterranean and flowers of South Africa and California. Outside, in the landscaped grounds, you will find tea, lavender, sunflowers and hemp.

The Eden Project tells a hundred plant stories: from cocoa and coffee to bananas and rubber; from plants and medicine to plants used in construction; from paper and wine to perfume and brewing. The Eden Project is a dramatic global garden, the size of 30 football fields, nestling like a lost world in a crater overlooking St. Austell Bay. It lies in a 34-acre bowl, 196 feet deep with steep south-facing walls that catch the sun even in the depths of winter; it's a natural theater that takes full advantage of Cornwall's mild climate, clean air and ample water.

After an introduction to the story of Eden at the Visitor Center on the lip of the crater, you will be on your own to explore the attraction. Following your visit, you'll return along the country roads of Cornwall to the harbor at Falmouth.

Important Notes: The drive to the Eden Project is 1¼ hours each way. Lunch is not included. You will have time to purchase lunch at your own expense during the tour.
