This utterly amazing master-planned city was constructed to move the country's administrative functions from Kuala Lumpur. Named after Malaysia's first Prime Minister, the late Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj, the landmark complex stretches over 11,320 acres of which more than 70% is devoted to greenery and bodies of water, including 13 different gardens. Planned to the minutest detail, this intelligent city is devoted to enhancing the goal of the nation in nurturing a caring and progressive society that is also technologically advanced. Architecturally, the city is a blend of both modern and Islamic design, with well-paved roads and residential areas that blend together harmoniously.
Meeting your coach at the pier, you'll commence on a leisurely and scenic drive to Putrajaya where upon arrival, you'll board a comfortable cruise boat for an outstanding tour of the city that showcases it from a unique perspective. Some of the sights you will see are Perdana Putra - the Prime Minister's Office Complex, Putra Mosque with its rose-tinted granite, the unique twin-deck Putra Bridge and Putra Square.
At the conclusion of what will no doubt be a highly memorable tour of this splendid city, you'll re-join your coach at the jetty for the ride back to the pier in Port Kelang.
Please note: The sights on this tour are not wheelchair accessible and therefore, it is not available to wheelchair guests. Lightweight clothing and flat, comfortable walking shoes are recommended. The tour boat is air-conditioned.
