This limited participation tour affords you the exciting opportunity of taking part in a true wildlife viewing experience.
A coach awaits you at the pier to transfer you to the Dar es Salaam Airport where you will board your light aircraft for a flight of approximately 45-minutes to the Selous Game Reserve. Along the way, you will be treated to marvelous aerial views of the Tanzanian countryside.
Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and a four-wheel drive safari vehicle that features an open game hatch for easy viewing. Enjoy the thrill and exhilaration of observing exotic and wild creatures in their natural habitat in what is one of Africa's largest game reserves. Some of the animals that you may see are elephants, lions, Cape buffalo, hippopotamus and a large variety of birds.
Your game drive in this vast wilderness lasts approximately 3 hours and a picnic lunch is provided in the vehicle to maximize your game viewing time.
In the afternoon, you will return to the airstrip and fly back to Dar es Salaam Airport and then transfer back to the port.
