Join the great explorers of centuries past during this memorable kayaking adventure on one of the most scenic waterways in the world, the Strait of Magellan.
Your adventure begins by taking a scenic route to the Agua Fresca Bay area where you will receive a short briefing on how to use the double kayaks and how to paddle in tandem, along with safety instructions. You will then be given some time to familiarize yourself with the equipment by kayaking on the Santa Maria River. Afterwards it's on to the Straits of Magellan.
During this adventurous ride you will be immersed in nature. Navigate amongst local birds such as seagulls, ducks, caiquenes, cormoranes and quetros. You may even be joined by the friendly austral dolphins that seasonally migrate to this coastal area.
After about an hour of kayaking you will have some time to change into dryer clothing and enjoy some hot chocolate before heading back to the pier.
