This full day tours travel from Montevideo to the lively city of Punta del Este. This famous South American seaside resort is the playground of the regional jet set and a world renowned site of many film festivals and international conferences. Often referred to as the St. Tropez of Uruguay, with its miles of pristine beaches and never-ending variety of things to do, this popular resort destination has become an international favorite. One of the more interesting features of Punta Del Este is that visitors can actually see the sun rise and set in the same waters due to its location on a peninsula that extends into the ocean. The combination of trendy shops, exquisite restaurants, clubs and distinctive architecture, all nestled between a setting of magnificent beaches and pine covered forest, truly differentiates Punta Del Este from other tourist destinations in the world.
