Paddle a kayak along the smooth-as-glass waters of the Saguenay Fjord, looking for whales, seals and other marine life in this unspoiled wonderland.

Depart the pier for a one hour scenic drive to Saguenay National Park. It's the province's first park dedicated to protecting marine life, and there is plenty to see as the two daily tide cycles support a variety of animals. Arriving at the Interpretation Center, you will discover much about the area and receive instruction regarding your outing on the water. Then, board your two-person kayak and prepare to paddle along Cape Trinity.

As you paddle through the pristine waterway, which was carved by the force of powerful glaciers centuries ago, you will marvel at the sheer cliffs and sandy beaches. It's an area of stunning natural beauty. The waters are rich in krill, making them attractive to whales that come to feed. Of course, exactly what you see will vary, although Cape Trinity is known for attracting whales, seals and a variety of marine birds.

After more than an hour on the water, you'll return to the Interpretation Center where you will have some free time to browse in the gift shop before making the transfer back to Saguenay.

Please note: This is an active tour that includes approximately 75-minutes of moderate kayaking. The tour is not available to wheelchair guests or those with mobility concerns. Participants should be in good physical condition. Previous kayaking experience is not required. Weather appropriate, water-resistant clothing and flat, comfortable walking shoes are suggested. Guests who take part in any water activities do so at their own risk and responsibility. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
