Explore the scintillating enclave of Saint Tropez and the equally enchanting Port Grimaud on this full day tour that highlights the best of the French Riviera.
On the southern shore of one of the most beautiful bays of the Riviera, the small port of Saint Tropez has become one of the best-known resorts in Europe, if not the world. Boarding your coach at the pier, you will set-off on a scenic drive through the picturesque wooded coastline of the Riviera. Upon arrival, you will embark on a guided walking tour through this bright, busy and fashionable waterfront destination, passing through the Old Harbor where you can admire a great variety of yachts, ranging from the most humble to the most luxurious. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the lively streets while marveling at the historic pink and yellow houses that have been converted into cafes, luxury boutiques, and antique shops.
Afterwards, enjoy time at your leisure for lunch on your own and a chance to stroll through the heart of this picturesque village exploring its colorful streets and white sandy beaches. Art lovers may also want to pay a visit to the Museum Annonciade where you can find works by Seurat, Matisse, Signac and Flaminck on display.
Following your leisure time, you will re-join your coach and proceed to Port Grimaud, which appears to be a historic Mediterranean fishing village, but is actually a modern complex of luxury houses, beautiful marinas, and seven miles of meandering quays. Grimaud is a village with a long history that is filled with character and perched on a hillside, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding areas. You are free to enjoy Grimaud at your leisure by perhaps relaxing at a local café and doing a little people-watching while having a cold refreshment or maybe choosing to take a short uphill walk towards the church to admire stunning views of the gulf of Saint Tropez from its rooftop. You may also elect to browse the winding alleyways alive with many local craftsmen, or book a mini cruise along its many canals.
Following this unforgettable visit, you will re-join your coach and travel back to the pier.
