Travel by coach from the port to Cabo da Roca, enjoying some of the most scenic views of the Portuguese coast.
After a brief stop for photos at Cabo da Roca, you'll continue on to famous Sintra, a small village built against the northern slope of the Serra de Sintra Mountains. The village is well-known for its charming narrow roads that are enveloped in lush greenery, its climbing flowers and the semi-tropical, vine-like plants which trail from mossy walls and balconies. Noble houses and palaces with walled gardens and stately courtyards are scattered throughout the forested hills, nestled in the soft and invitingly cool microclimate that this mountain location provides for the town and surrounding area. Upon arrival, you will have approximately 1-hour of free time to explore on your own and discover the charms of this delightful and characteristic Portuguese village.
Re-boarding your coach, you will make your way back to Cascais, where you can take in the sights of this well-known resort area at your leisure before it's time to transfer back to the pier.
