From the pier, it's a two and one-half coach ride to Cordoba, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Upon arrival, you'll begin a panoramic drive of the city, including views of the Roman Bridge, the Royal Palaces and the Calahorra Tower. Soon, you will arrive at the mosque, a well-preserved monument from the 8th century. During the visit, your guide will provide historical details and insight into the monument.
Next, proceed to the Jewish Quarter, where you will visit the formersynagogue, which was built in 1350. While it no longer functions as a place of worship, the synagogue remains an historical monument and a treasured symbol of the region's Jewish communities. It is the only synagogue in Andalusia to survive the expulsion and inquisition of the Jews in 1492, and one of only three ancient synagogues left in all of Spain.
Following your synagogue visit, you will have a bit of free time before walking with your guide to a nearby local restaurant for lunch. Afterwards, you'll rejoin your coach and drive back to the pier in Malaga.
