Travel to the fabled Principality of Monaco on this full-day tour that showcases one of the jewels of the French Riviera.
Boarding your coach at the pier, you will first travel to Nice where your route takes you along the famous Promenade des Anglais before continuing to the Principality of Monaco via the Middle Corniche. During your drive you will be treated to marvelous scenic views of Villefranche, Cap Ferrat and Beaulieu. Your route also takes you past the medieval village of Eze, which sits perched on a craggy peak overlooking the Mediterranean.
Arriving in the Principality of Monaco, your coach will park at the foot of the rock of Monaco and together with your guide you will walk to the escalators that bring you to the top. Once on the upper level, you will commence a guided walking tour that passes by the Oceanographic Museum, the Cathedral and allow you to view the exterior of the Prince's Palace. At mid-day, you will have the added enjoyment of observing the changing of the guards in front of the Prince's Palace.
Following lunch at a local restaurant, your tour resumes with a walk to the well-known Grand Casino (visit not included) and then you will have a bit of free time to take in the attractions of your choice around the Place du Casino. You may wish to stroll across the street to admire the Hotel de Paris, do a little window shopping around the corner, or perhaps try your luck at the Café de Paris Casino.
All too soon it's time to make your way back to your coach for the return journey to Cannes and your waiting ship.
