This mostly panoramic tour gives you the opportunity to enjoy the stunning coastal views provided along the famous Golden Corniche, or Esterel cliff road, which is considered one of the most beautiful areas of the French Riviera.
Setting off from the pier, the cliff road will run close to the sea in some places and passes by lovely villa gardens set with palms, orange trees and mimosa. The Esterel has a breathtaking beauty and is made up of volcanic rocks, which at Agay, are blue in color while elsewhere, are green, yellow, purple and grey. The fiery colors of the rocks make for a striking contrast against the cobalt blue of the sea.
A stop will be made at the fashionable resort town of Saint Raphael which is situated on Frejus Bay. The waterfront by the Old Harbor bristles with activity generated by the charming cafés and shops that line the pavements of Cours Jean Bart and Quai Albert. Enjoy free time here to browse the shops or simply relax and soak in the ambiance of this delightful enclave before it's time to rejoin your coach for the return to Cannes.
Please note: Walking on this tour is mainly at the guest's discretion. The tour is available to wheelchair guests who have a collapsible wheelchair, are able to make their own way on and off the coach and have a companion to assist them. Those with mobility concerns are cautioned to evaluate their personal level of ability and stamina. Flat, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen are suggested. It is important to note that it is difficult to find restrooms along the highway en route to Saint Raphael.
