Oceania Exclusive Tour
For those travelers who prefer an added measure of intimacy and flexibility, we are pleased to offer our new Oceania Exclusive tours. With a minimum of 10 guests and a maximum capacity of just 16 guests, each tour benefits from a higher level of personal attention and the added flexibility and agility that come from traveling in a small group.
Oceania Exclusive tours are available for a specially selected number of tours in almost every port we visit, in every corner of the world.
You will journey from the port away from the city area and into the fertile area of orange and lemon groves to reach the Achilleion Palace for a visit. Originally built for the Empress Elizabeth of Austria, she was assassinated after it was completed it was completed. It was then purchased by Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany. The gardens adorned with statues and the views over the densely wooded countryside are magnificent. On the way back to town, a short photo stop is made at a vantage point, offering wonderful views of the bay with Mouse Island and the little chapel of the convent of Vlachernae clearly visible. Back in Corfu town, a short walking tour will traverse the famed Esplanade past the cricket pitch and include the Church of St. Spiridon, the patron of Corfu. You may choose to remain in town to further explore on your own or return to the ship.
Please note: This tour includes over 2 hours of walking and/or standing, at times on uneven ground and marble surfaces. It is not considered suitable for wheelchair guests or those with mobility concerns. Hats and flat, comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
