This unique tour gives you a completely different means to explore the less traveled areas of Corfu. Waiting for you on the pier is your 4-wheel drive vehicle and climbing behind the wheel, you'll embark on a truly memorable and exciting journey. Your caravan will first make its way along the main coastal route, enjoying vistas of the beautiful coastline before turning onto a small asphalt road that passes through olive groves and the small village of Ano Korakiana. Continuing on, an exhilarating winding road, complete with 27 hairpin turns, brings you to one of the oldest villages of Corfu, Sokraki. Here, nestled among a wealth of pine and olive trees, you'll find an utterly charming traditional town where time seems to stand still. A stop will be made so that you can stretch your legs and take a short walk through the narrow, cobblestone streets that wind through this delightful village. Before leaving Sokraki, you'll be treated to a meze - a traditional light snack, accompanied by a glass of local wine.
Traveling on from Sokraki, you'll navigate down a lane that offers stunning panoramic vistas of the island as well as the old town of Corfu. Your caravan will then pass through the picturesque towns of Troumbetta, Arkadades, Makrades and Lakones before making a final photo stop. From a wonderful vantage point, you'll have some absolutely amazing views over Paleokastritsa. Returning to the port, your tour concludes at the pier.
Please note: This tour negotiates numerous curves. Therefore, it is not recommended for guests with heart, back, or neck ailments. Guests must bring a valid drivers' license. The vehicles are manual gear-shift and four guests will travel per vehicle, following a guide vehicle. Lightweight clothing, a hat and comfortable walking shoes are suggested.
