Dominated by fabulous scenery, this tour to Mijas presents a picture-perfect village perched high on a mountainside. It is a fantasy of dazzling white houses with red tile roofs, iron grilles and balconies filled with colorful geraniums. The twisting, cobbled streets are a delight, as you will see on a guided walking tour to several of the village's prominent attractions. Behold the beautiful Sanctuary of the Virgin de la Pena, the city's patron saint, as well as the delightful, impeccably decorated Church of La Immaculada. Then, enjoy the awe-inspiring coastal view from the surrounding gardens and terraces. Mijas is also known for its donkey taxi, a local attraction and ancient mode of transportation. During your free time, you might browse through the village's marketplace, a center of wonderful Andalusian crafts.
