A leisurely drive through the countryside, dotted with windmills and farms, brings you to the Caves of Drach, a spectacular underground attraction.
The caves contain countless strangely shaped stalactites and stalagmites, reflecting in the clear pools. It's a beautifully eerie sight, as is Martell Lake, one of the world's largest subterranean lakes, which shimmers provocatively in the manmade lights from above.
After emerging from the caves, you will witness another phenomenon: highly prized Mallorca pearls being made in a factory. These faux pearls, made from natural marine products, are nearly indistinguishable from the real thing. Afterwards, you'll travel back to the pier where your tour concludes.
Please note: This tour inlcudes approximate 2 hours of moderate walking and you may encounter some slippery surfaces. There will be a few steps to negotiate. The tour is not available to wheelchair guests and those with mobility concerns are cautioned to carefully evaluate their personal level of stamina and ability. Weather appropriate clothing; sun cap; sunglasses; and flat, non-slip, comfortable walking shoes are recommended. The caves can be humid and cold so it is suggested that you also bring a jacket with you.
