Each autumn Canada and New England ignite in a blaze of color. It is a glorious show as the summer foliage transforms into a tapestry of breathtaking hues. Fiery reds, brilliant oranges, delicate yellows and exotic purples blanket the countryside, drawing thousands of "leaf peepers." The best seat to view the drama is onboard Regatta, as she spends the peak season center stage. Best of all, the backdrop changes daily to achieve the maximum effect of nature's glory.

POST - ICONS OF THE BIG APPLE

POST - ICONS OF THE BIG APPLE

Explore the undisputed icons of New York City on private tours, a harbor cruise and on highly accommodating double-decker buses that allow you to "hop on and hop off" wherever you wish.

DAY 1

You will be met at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal by your New York City licensed guide and be transferred by deluxe motor coach to the MoMa (The Museum of Modern Art). Praised as the greatest collection of modern art in the world by The New York Times, the museum's unparalleled collection offers a comprehensive overview of modern and contemporary art, from the European painting and sculpture of the 1880s to the design, film and performance art of today. You will have some free time to explore the museum on your own and your guide will be available to answer any questions.

After this exhilarating experience, you will be transferred to your hotel "The InterContinental Hotel", a refreshing sanctuary within walking distance of the Broadway theater district, extraordinary shopping and fabulous restaurants.

Early in the evening, you will be picked up at the hotel for a highly entertaining tour of Harlem and its vital role in the history of jazz beginning in the 1920s. In its heyday, Harlem was home to more than 400 nightclubs and all the legends played and sang there, including Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald.

The highlight of the evening is a live jazz dinner show at a Harlem nightclub that re-creates the experience of the Harlem in its most exciting musical period.

Afterwards, you will return to the hotel for the evening.

DAY 2

Following a full American breakfast at the hotel, you will have the entire day at leisure to explore the Big Apple at your own pace. So that you can easily get around from landmark to landmark, you will enjoy unlimited access to the double-decker buses on the "City Sights New York All Around Town Tour".

Just hop on and hop off wherever you please. The buses travel throughout New York City and stop at more than 40 locations, presenting icons such as Ground Zero and the Statue of Liberty. Stop at the Empire State Building and you will enjoy free entrance to the Observation Deck on the 86th floor for a spectacular panoramic view of Manhattan. The tour also includes a 90-minute harbor cruise that you can join whenever you please and tickets to the Museum of the City of New York

After a full day of sightseeing completely on your own schedule, you can return to the hotel at your leisure.
