How to Enroll

To purchase the Oceania Cruises® Travel Protection Program, all you need to do is pay for the plan cost with your final cruise payment. The Trip Cancellation provisions take effect upon receipt of payment. All other provisions take effect upon the departure date. Payment for this program cannot be accepted after final trip payment or commencement of the penalty period.

Knowing you have purchased coverage for your trip – it is something that makes your cruise more pleasurable and relaxing, and something for which our Travel Protection Program was created. We offer a package of travel insurance coverage and assistance services for Oceania Cruises' guests which can help you in the face of unexpected medical expenses, trip and baggage delays, or lost, stolen or damaged luggage and personal effects while traveling. Additionally, reimbursement is provided for penalties that may be assessed due to cruise cancellations for covered reasons.

Reimburses pre-paid non-refundable cancellation or interruption charges (up to a maximum of $50,000 per insured) for losses caused by a covered medical condition of either the insured guest, an immediate family member, or a traveling companion.

  • Trip Cancellation: Up to Total Cruise Cost ($50,000 Maximum Benefit Amount)

Covers additional accommodation and out-of-pocket travel expenses incurred as a result of a covered delay of more than 12 hours.

Provides emergency medical transportation services to the nearest qualified medical facility in the event of a guest's medical emergency.

Provides reimbursement of medical expenses incurred as a result of a covered accident or sickness during the cruise.

Reimburses if an insured guest's baggage is stolen, lost, or damaged during their vacation, up to $1,500. If bags are delayed for 24 hours or more, the plan reimburses up to $500 for the purchase of necessary personal effects.

24-HOUR WORLDWIDE ASSISTANCE SERVICES -Services provided by On Call International
Wherever you may be in the world, this service provides emergency assistance for a variety of circumstances, including making cash transfers; medical consulting and monitoring; assistance with lost documents; legal, dental, and medical referrals to physicians or hospitals; and emergency medical payment assistance overseas, to name a few. All assistance services are provided by On Call International.

The Travel Insurance plan is underwritten by Transamerica Casualty Insurance Company a Transamerica company, Columbus, Ohio; NAIC # 10952 (all states as otherwise noted) under Policy/Certificate Form series TAHC5000. In CA, HI, NE, NH, PA, TN and TX, Policy/Certificate Form series TAHC5100 and TAHC5200. In IL, IN, KS, LA, OH, OR, VT, WA and WY, Policy Form #'s TAHC5100IPS and TAHC5200IPS. Certain coverages are under series TAHC6000 and TAHC7000.

The plan is administered by Aon Affinity. Should you need to contact Aon Affinity, they can be reached at 1-800-457-7709 or 1-516-342-2720 Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 10 PM EST and on Saturdays from 9 AM to 5 PM EST. Claims can be initiated online at www.travelclaim.com.

This plan provides cancellation coverage for your trip and other insurance coverages that apply only during the covered trip. You may have coverage from other sources that provides you with similar benefits but may be subject to different restrictions depending upon your other coverages. You may wish to compare the terms of this policy with your existing life, health, home and automobile policies. If you have any questions about your current coverage, call your insurer, insurance agent or broker.
